Question

does anyone know how to change the time for any given city. I have the correct time in the OS but the times for the cities are off. for example I live in the same time zone for Philly. It's three hours ahead of the actual time. Any way of correcting this?

you have to setup the "home city" in city guide...the default is San Francisco, hence the three hour difference you're noticing. Once inside city guide, select the "menu" button and then hit "select home city." You'll then get a pull down list of cities, choose yours and then everything will be right.

OK, I'm a bozo. When does Daylight Savings time start and when does it end? I have no idea if we're in DST now or if we're in real time.

Question 2: Why the H$@%K do we have DST anyway???? I so much love to suddenly be driving home from work in the dark in the winter.

</Rant Off>

Thanks folks.

You don't say where you are, so I'll assume its in the northern hemisphere. Its Winter now, so we are on Standard Time. In Summer we go on Daylight Time. (In the US, thats from the first Sunday of April to the last Sunday of October).

All times are GMT. The time now is 06:02 AM.
