Cobalt

Anyone ever tried the Cobalt Simulator? I downloaded it just to see what it would have been like. I must say now I'm disapointed that it won't be coming out. It had a very nice gui to it. I even tried a few programs on it without any problems. Some were even from the OS 3 days. Sure wish I knew what Palms game plan was. Are the handhelds going to stick around and what OS will they use. Some say Access Linux others say Palm is developing their own Linux veriant. I don't see why they can't use Cobalt for Handhelds and the Linux for smartphones but then I'm not a software designer either.
