HELP! dark spot!

Hi ive had my edge for about a month now, and yesterday I steped on it with its cover on, and it was face up. anyways ever sence then theres been a dark spot thats about 3/4 of a dime on my screen. any sugjestions on removing it? thx alot

if you're comfortable opening it up, replace it yourself.
