-- Feeling like an idiot - need help (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=10193)
Well, I finally got my VDX. I would now like to convince it to talk to MS Outlook 2000 and put my contacts in Visor's address book. I would also like it to sync with Outlook's calendar, if possible. Forgive me for being a clueless newbie, but I cannot seem to make the Visor sync with Outlook for anything besides mail. Is there a way to do this painlessly, or am I going to have to reenter *all* my data in the Palm software provided? Thanks for your help.

Have you installed PocketMirror yet? Most likely that's the problem.
Yes, you'll need to install PocketMirror from the Handspring CD. You should find a setup program in the PocketMirror subdirectory. This will enable you to sync contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes between the VDx and Outlook. You may also want to go to the PocketMirror web site and look into the latest version (3.0 Standard and Pro). I think 3.0 Std is a free upgrade from the version included with the Visor.
