What's the microphone for?

I'm definetaly getting a Visor Edge, but I have one question? What's the microphone for? Is it true that you can only use it for springboards such as the phone? Are there any programs that use it? Thanks

Yes, it's true. The microphones on the whole Visor line are only hooked up to the springboard slot. Unless you have a springboard (visorphone, voice recorder, etc.) that supports it, it's useless.
