Visor locks up because of a DB?

I tried testing a backup CF program I got, and it caused a major storm. Unit locked up, went haywire. Contrast was going nuts, etc.

Traced the problem to a database of a program I use, called Showtimes. Basically gets the local movie times everytime you sync. The backup program can't back it up for some reason. I don't consider this program a hack, why the trouble?

Also, it won't restore an app like BigClock, or any of my Docs ToGo apps.
