-- Syncing 1 Visor with 2 PIM's on 2 PC's (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2520)

Question

I'd like to be able to sync my new Visor (YIPPEE!) with Outlook on my business laptop and with Palm Desktop on my home PC. The problem is that I'd like to keep the 2 address books seperate - I don't want all of my personal addresses to end up on the company Exchange server, and I don't want my business contacts to clutter up my home address book. Is there a way to have 2 Address Books running on my Visor and have them sync separately? If not, can I have the Visor sync only certain categories of the Address Book? Thanks for the help!

I had a similar issue.... wanted two sets of contacts.

Settled halfway by putting each set of contacts under a separate category.

Would love to know if its possible to have two user profiles on the same handheld....

Sorry, couldnt solve your problem though.

As far as I know, 2 users on one Visor is NOT possible directly. I think I saw something over at PalmGear that allowed multiple users but I'm not sure if it also had multiple DB's.

Take a look at Intellisync (http://www.pumatech.com). It has the best filtering abilities out there, IMHO.

It should be pretty easy to accomplish using the above software and categorizing your contacts.
