I was thinking hole punch, but I think that might be to big.........

Ryan,

I used a leather punch I bought at Orchard Supply Hardware. It has a rotating head that has six different hole sizes. I used the smallest size. The device looks like a large version of those old silver, single hole, handheld, paper hole punchers, but with the rotating head to select the hole size. Cost me about $12 and it works great for punching extra holes in belts.

By the sound of things, I treat mine pretty poorly. I use the standard hard cover and just put it in the left back pocket of my jeans. Never really had a problem with it.

I learned to take it out before I sit in my truck, or sometimes It'll lock up and I'll have to do a soft reset on it. I think it flexes too much.

My Visor is safely tucked away in my E-Holster. For balance my cell phone is on the other side.

My Visor resides in a TI Slider case. I've dropped it many times onto concrete and there has been no damage. I love the case!

Started with the smallest size on the leather punch, too. Of course, Murphy's Law was invoked and the hole ended up where it WASN'T supposed to be. At that point, the standard hole punch came out of the drawer so now the hole is a bit bigger than it needs to be.

I emailed this suggestion to E&B a while back and their response was that they would probably incorporate a reset hole in the future. That was back in March/April and as far as I know it has not been implemented yet.

Most of the time I carry my visor around in my modified Franklin Covey Case. It's the 'Pocket' size leather zip around, with a leather holster that the Visor sits in. You can see what I did here : http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...TML/000433.html (the images no longer work, sorry)..
Otherwise, I carry it around in my cargo pants.

I use the standard snap on plastic cover and carry it in my shirt pocket.

I carry mine in a palmglove with the screen cover on to keep the buttons from being pressed(this is annoying, but it seems to offer a lot of protection, and looks to boot)

Hmm, I'm not sure how this has screwed up the thread... but this question would probably be better asked in another forum. I recall a discussion on this exact question at some point, but I can't remember where it was. Look around, it might be in the FAQ.

Please don't use a picture that is too huge, please (i.e., 18k is too big)

Used to carry it in my E&B Slipper with belt clip, but got tired of even that much extra volume, so now I carry it in my briefcase or my front pants pocket without any cover with the screen facing my leg (I lost the clip-on cover, waiting for re-visor to come out with their Flid Lid).

Really? I remove it all the time with one hand. I think the thing to do is do NOT try to remove the Visor until you depress the button first. I press the button with my thumb, not touching the Visor, then while keeping the button depressed, lift straight up on the Visor with the remaining fingers. I know it seems weird lifting it straight up when it attaches from the side but it is designed to lift then kind of pop out the side. If you try to remove the Visor before pressing the button (or at the same time) you will mess yourself up. I can remove it very easy with one hand even while sitting.

Hope that helped

Current Runnings:

Well here is a quick summary of the results of this survey, though I think the survey is by no means over (keep the submissions going!).

E&B Slipper: 9 users
Rhodiana case: 5 users
nothing/pocket/hardcover/pants: 5 users
BurroPak: 1 user
Rhinoskin Shocksuit: 1 user
Rhinopak 3000: 1 user
Rhinopak 2000: 1 user
E-Holster: 1 user
TI-Slider: 1 user
Palmglove: 1 user
Franklin Covey converted: 1 user
Handspring Slim Leather Case: 1 user

Note that there is not a one-to-one correspondence from users to cases. Some users have a combination of cases.

So it looks like the E&B Slipper is the clear leader at this point!

I carry my Visor with a it's plastic cover in my Otterbox2K (normally in my backpack) when I'm not using it very often. When I know I'll be using it on and off, I keep it in my cargo pocket with the plastic cover on. I just got a Stowaway though and I don't know how I'm gonna tote it--I think it's a tad too big for my pockets. I already carry somethign else in my other cargo pocket too anyway, so I don't know really what I'm gonna do.

Bright blue PalmGlove (which I just cleaned earlier today. The edges were starting to get a little dirty), /always/ snapped into its hard case.

My Visor is with me 24/7, and depending on where I am, I either carry it in my hand or toss it into my briefcase (got a nice sturdy JanSport).

For more info on the PalmGlove, check out my little commentary elsewhere on this same forum.
