This happens every time. I am waiting until backup process is complete. Anyone else? Why?

Are you removing the backup module while it's still in the backup app? I noticed the only time removing the backup module causes a crash is when it's removed while the backup app is still open. It's a lame bug, for sure, but the workaround solved my problem.

Try switching out of the backup app before removing the module.

There was another thread on this board about somebody who had a similar problem.
They traced it to a hack.

A number of us have found that SwitchHack causes this problem with the removal of any springboards. You can see our notes on the Incompatibility page.
