-- visor palm ? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=1335)
i have the money to buy a palm Vx, but i am wondering if i should buy a visor deluxe instead. Here in norway the visor hasn't arrived yet, and i would like to get my pda as fast as possible.
What should I buy? please help!
IMHO, the VDX is the better unit. The only advantage to the Vx is that it is slightly smaller. But I don't see that as a major issue. Save your bucks for some good software add-ons, a SB module, or to take your girlfriend out on the town.

It depends, if you're interested in using add-on peripherals and think you'll have a good use for them, get a Visor. The Vx is very nice and has a better quality screen, a built in rechageable battery, and is VERY portable because its so thin.

Your final decision should come down to what you want from your handheld. Unless you have the specific need for expansion capabilities, and add-on functionality, I would definitley go with the Palm Vx. It's a much better quality device, and extremely thin, lightweight, and stylish. And, unlike the Visor, the Vx OS is flash upgradeable.
If however, you simply want an inexpensive PDA with a modular design architecture, the Visor is good choice.
Good Luck!
