-- OK, I'm a total friggin' geek now (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=7576)
After getting extremely tired of feeling like Batman wearing a utility belt, I decided to order an E-Holster. After wearing it for a day or two, I must say that it feels pretty good to only have my work phone on my belt at work (my personal cell and Visor being in the E-Holster). I'm still not _totally_ used to having something under my arms like this, but I have to say that it's definitely more comfortable that having two phones and a visor on my belt.

The e-holster is a nice piece of work, I have one and it works very well. Takes a while to get used to having things under your arms but it does get the electronic gizmos off the Bat-belt

Hey Toby:
Welcome to the club. I've had my e-holster since March and love it. I have also been through the following airports while wearing the e-holster with no problems at all: Denver, Reno, Salt Lake City, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta.
If you ever get tired of having your work cell phone on your belt, you can always buy another cell phone holder and attach it underneath the existing cell phone holder. A DBA friend of mine does that. So under one arm he has two cell phones, under the other he has his palm and a pager.
I have found that you need to adjust the straps to get the e-holster to hang the most comfortable. What works best for me is to have the front straps shorter than the rear so both my cell phone and Visor hang in a slightly nose up position.
Take care,
Jerry

Are you getting snickers from behind your back?
That eHolster definately looks interesting. I'm wondering how many laughs it creates around the office due to it looking like NYPD Blue. Has anyone noticed yours? I may try the $41 version.

Why pay more for when you can get the real thing for less?
I bought a police holster from the local army/navy surplus
store, and have been carrying by Visor with that. Free's up
a lot of room in my pockets. The great part is that it only
costs $12!

I was just willing to spend a bit extra to get a more form-fitting design.
Ordered my over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder today
I first ordered the $41 neoprene version last night. Then I noticed how much longer the cell phone case is than my phone is (7" case, 4" phone). Then I saw the replacement case sizes and that the smaller cell phone case they offer would fit my Sanyo 3500 to a T, so I called today to see if I could swap out before they shipped. They didn't make a smaller cell case for the neoprene model, so I couldn't do a straight swap. So I went with the next model up with the cordura cases. She said they're discontinuing the neoprene model because it's so hard to get the devices in and out of. Also they would have had the cell phone size option available on the site as you place the order, but they're having trouble with Mindsprings servers (I'm guessing that's their host). Maybe soon.
I'll have to invest in some of those black T-shirts. :-) I'll let you know when it arrives.

Well, my e-holster arrived yesterday (only two days shipping!) and I must say I really like it! I'm very surprised at how easy it is to get to my Visor and cell phone when they're under my arms like that. It is definately very comfortable to wear too. Yesterday I emailed my fiancee the link to their website and she was like "Ok, you've got to be kidding." I guess you either love it or hate it. :-) I haven't done a "field test" with it yet in the real world since I got in late last night, but I'll be heading to the store shortly to see what peoples heads do there. Cheers!
Dave

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?
What is a x-acto knife?
A knife with a pen-like handle that is fitted to use replaceable blades on one end. See - http://www.hunt-corp.com/office/xacto/catframe.html
To see a picture of the classic x-acto knife (using the above URL), click on the triangle to the left of "Knives" and then click on "Medium Weight Precision No. 2 Knife"
