Question

I just recently bought a set of NiMh batteries and charger and noticed when I installed them my battery level topped out at 85%. What do I need to set my Visor on in order to get acurate meter readings. And, If anyone can tellme, what kind of battery performance changes can I expect? Thanks for all your help.

Lightbulb Get BatteryLevelHack

Head to PalmGear and download BatteryLevelHack. There are other hacks that include battery meter adjustments, too -- using a NiCD profile if NiMH isn't available should also do the trick.

Smile NiMH settings on OS 3.5H

I bought the newest blue/green AAA NiMH batteries from Energizer, and I think there real good--seem to last a long time. What you need to do is to open a new memo and name it NiMH (or whatever you want) and write the shortcut command then tap twice .. and the number 7. Retype this until you cycle through the choices to NiMH. Now you have the correct setting for your battery level. If you use batteryinfo 1.3, then set the battery kind to NiCad--the characteristics between these two settings NiMH and NiCad are similar. You can also hold down the up button and tap/hold the battery to get current energy levels.
