What about Vivarin or No-Doze tablets?

Well, I think those have a bit more caffeine than Penguins... I'm not *that* much of a caffeine addict. Plus Penguins do have a minty taste and freshen your breath! Normally I only have a Penguin once every couple of days, but I am kind of the office's Penguin Pusher ;-) so it would be handy to have them concealed in the Visor for quick dealing.

A little off topic, but, the handspring pen stylus is crap for the money. Pilot Pentopia has the same thing for the same cost. It has a replacable pen cartridge, and the reset pin is metal. The Handsprings is plastic, and flimsy.

I tried the Pilot Pentopia "Chameleon", which is similar to the Pen Stylus from Handspring. The Chameleon did not fit well into the stylus slot (it was a little short, and I had to pry it out). But the my major gripe with it was that the reset pin was too short.

But I did like the stylus tip and the fact that it was refillable.

I thought the Chameleon was for the Palm III? That's probably why it wouldn't fit in your visor correctly.

I'd love a visor made version of it (but I'll definately settle for my pda panache!)

The Chameleon is for the Palm devices, but it was so close I figured I could live with it. But the reset pin was the last straw...

Somebody mentioned Penguins, and I just had to try something.

My brand of caffiene in a pill is Brown and Haley Extra Strength Caffeinated Peppermints. I bought my tin at Fry's in Phoenix for less than two bucks. These ones fit fine, and you could put about 12 of them in the empty cover.

fnj: "In SixPack 2.0, I think you should sub a condom for the matches."

No offense meant here, but I can't imagine that many of you geeks would have much use for a condom in the springboard slot.

Even if you were to get lucky, the sight of you taking your condom out of your visor springboard slot may very well make your girl run for the hills.

Stick with using your slot to keep your stash of hashish.

There are a fine variety of caffeine products available at the online catalog of ThinkGeek: http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/caffeine.html

They don't have Brown and Haley, but they do have Penguin, and others.

Plus beverages. Those "Mixed X" drinks look dangerous. They contain caffeine, guarana, mate, betel nut and kola nut (all stimulants). In addition, they have Ginko Biloba, ginsing, and kava-kava.

I'm thinking about getting a case of "Bawls" myself.

I found the post it "Page Markers" to be great... i use them to mark pages in books while doing research so i scan them later.
They are just the right size to write down a phone number or email... for someone without a pda, and i can divide a stack of them into and no problems with trimming with. Still have room for a tic tac or two.

Found another useful thing to put in the empty springboard cover. Lenscrafters sells a neat little package that is a wet lens cleaner lint free cloth. I tried it on my IVD, and it cleaned the screen quite well. You buy a box of cleaners for $10.00 and you get 60 of them. The metal foil wrapped package (folded in half) fits quite nicely.

The condom idea lives on!

Looks like there are two camps of visor users - those who would have a need for glasses cleaners, and those who would need condoms (kinda like PC vs MAC if you ask me... ). JK!!!

BTW, extra-large condoms don't fit in the springboard slot, so this would be a module for the US, but there'd have to be a special version for Canada

In kind reply to DanWig, I would hasten to say that the impression could be given that glasses wearing geeks would be the only ones who would carry such things around. Alas, I have a very expensive digital camera that I tote with me, and its cheaper to buy the cleaning wipes as glasses accessories, instead of camera accessories. I don't fault the member from the 51st state (tongue firmly in cheek, and bloody well aware of the ire that will raise - just kidding chum) for his or her impression.

Cool

For those that need to take medications during the day, it makes a great little pill-box!

Hmm,... wonder how many ounces of cocaine the DEA have found in Visors?

Thumbs up

I keep a small hitter & a tasty nugget. Allways helps to be prepared!

Wouldn't that be interesting ... the 51st state being nearly twice as big as the first 50 put together...

According to the Population Reference Bureau, Canada has 3,849,670 square miles, while the U.S. has 3,717,796 square miles.

So much for the vaunted Canadian education system...
