Keyboard seems dead

I use a LandWare GoType keyboard, which works perfectly well with my old VDx, but not with my VPL. LandWare can't figure it out - nothing on the keyboard is broken, but for some reason it won't seat properly in the VPL. If I wiggle it about and hold it firmly I can get the VPL to see the kybd, but as soon as I let go it disappears again. Has anyone else seen this?

This sounds like a problem with the hotsync connector on the VPL. Does it appear to be ok? Does it sync properly in the cradle?

Maybe the contacts are dirty... you can try cleaning them with some rubbing alcohol.

No, the Hot Sync works fine (Unlike the VDx which lives eternally in reset Hell.) And I have the most recent GoType drivers etc.
