-- How much will cost full version of PiDirect? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=15682)
It's much confusing that PiDirect will be not free.
Probably it's time to think about change Visor+Memplug to CLIE, Handera or Palm m500... all of them has similar functionality for free and cost just less then Visor+Memplug.
Hmmm
You are going to switch to another product just because of one application from a third party company? dDoesn't make any sense.
I'm hoping PiDirect is only about $10, I agree that we shouldn't be asked to fork much over for functionality that seemed the next step - not to mention the numerous people who were early adopters & got stuck with the original design and/or those who put up with PalmGear.
If you ask me, PiDirect should raise the price on the module & include PiDirect with it - give all of us original owners it for free or a heavy discount.

I don't like to do not have any alternatives.
BIG QUESTION: WHY THEIR API DON'T COMPATIBLE WITH VirtualFS? Give me compatible API and then I will decide where should I spend my $10...
Actually I wads one who asked about upcoming PiDirect functionality at the next day I've got my MemPlug and play with it (it was almost 3 months ago).
At the same time I've noticed that it will be good to have compatible API...
I can imagine what going to happend next time... PI will spend another 3 months and then give us compatible API for just another $10. Isn't it funny? :-)
I have MemPlug and now I have put so many games on my 64M SM card. Just consider a single game already cost me $10-$15, I can afford up to $15 for PiDirect. I won't need to spend my time to copy and delete my games to and from my Visor any more!
Hope that PIT won't charge above this price...
