Question

I am currently using an 8mb backup module with my Visor platinum and everytime I attempt to check how much free space is available on the "module" I get a fatal error message and have to do a soft reset. I am able to check the internal memory with no problems but as soon as I switch it to the module the error message occurs. allthough this is not a big problem, it is somewhat bothersome.
Perhaps i'm going about it in the wrong way? Is there another way to check for available space besides Main Menu-Info-Records????
Thanks
Vicki

Exclamation Backup Module

I don't think that one could check for available space of the Backup Module (it is used only for backup/restore). Correct me if I am wrong.

I'm sorry, I meant to say that i'm using the 8mb flash module, not the back up module.... my problem with the fatal error is when I try to find the available space on the Flash module.
Thanks for pointing that out.

for the 8MB Flash Memory module, if you're in the FileMover app and switch to "Module" it should show the free memory.
If this *is* what you're doing, my best guess is that something's gone wrong or bad with the module, or perhaps there's nothing on it and it's confuzed.
