Strange, I read on the Handspring page: http://info.handspring.com/shipping_news.html

When does Visor ship?

We will begin shipping our products, including Visor, in October as planned.

What other products are there?

Well, since they had styli, cases, cradles, t-shirts, etc. for sale on the site before, I would imagine that the "other products" would be those items.

I suspect that Handspring has more than t-shirts, styli and a few cheesy caps up its sleeve. It looks as though they're leaving springboard development to third party developers, too, for the most part.

Visor matches and improves slightly on the present rash of palms. It's not a next-generation product. If I was at Handspring, I would be looking to make that next leap, just the way Hawkins and co did with the original palm. And if I knew what that next leap was, I wouldn't be talking about it on a bulletin board, I'd be out trying to raise some capital to do it myself.

Right, there are t-shirts and stuff. Still, it sounds funny. I don't think there are too many people buying springboards or cradles without ordering a visor.
