-- Mods a little trigger happy (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=8490)
This sort of stuff always happens when a UBB newly assigns moderators. They try to do a good job, and in trying they actually do an awful job. Closing everything that might offend anyone at all. I personally couldn't care less about the whole warez matter, but it's the principle of the whole thing.
MODS, if you wanna do a good job, please, please calm down.
Maybe you have not noticed this, but most of the warez and illegal threads have been closed by James. If you think that he's new to this game, think again, he just wants to preserve the status of Visorcentral, and I bet that almost everyone here is behind that 100.
BEN
I'm the one that has closed the warez threads, and I'm sorry if you disagree with our standpoint on the matter.
As for the new moderators, I think they're doing a great job.

Moderators doing a stellar job...
I second James and BEN, the moderators are doing a great job. They have added a depth to many of the discussions, and I for one, appreciate their expertise.
James was very clear that there were certain discussions that would not be allowed on VC. I believe he was very justified on closing these threads.

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?

Stealth-Mod.
I think the moderators are doing a great job, old and new. James and Marcus simply can't stay awake for 24 hours a day to moderate this very active forum. They do have real lives...I think. Adding ToolkiT from Europe keeps a moderator monitoring the posts nearly around the clock. If we have had a problem with a discussion thread, i.e. screen protectors or warez, they have gone in as per the user agreement or member requests and closed or edited the offending areas. I think the quick response of the moderators is very important to keeping this board thriving and out of legal hot water.
If they get out of line, we'll dock them a days pay from VisorCentral.
The moderators here put up with a lot of crap from the members sometimes, but keep their cool and professional demeanor and keep the board going smoothly. They should get a virtual round of applause from the members and guests. (OK, James, you can mail me some free review stuff you have lying around for that last plug)

I don't understand why this is such a hard thing to grasp. The moderators (and James, for that matter) are doing a super job and, as evidenced by the responses, speak for the vast majority of the people at VC. The TV guide is clearly printed..if you don't like what's on at this channel, flip to another.
