Question

Every time I load a new program (shareware, freeware, or purchased) after I hotsync to load the program and hit my launcher screen I receive the following message in a box just above the graffiti area:

ERROR (in the title frame)

(Red X in a circle) Error: Unique ID not found.

What is this? How can I get rid of it? I purchased the VPR new and had upgraded from a Palm Pro that I had purchased new.

Smile

If you are using Launch 'Em as your launcher. Go into Options, then Default DB Placement. Make sure you have a setup for TYPE appl and TAB Main, or whatever TAB you prefer. Create a new one if you have to. Mine also has one for PQA files.

Thumbs up Thanks

Since I did not indicate my laucher (which is Launch 'Em) I am betting you are right on the money.

I just did as you suggested. Now I need to load something! Cool an excuse to search and find a new program.

I've been getting the same error message w/ Launch'Em II after a soft reset or a HotSync...and it usually pops up 5 or 6 times before it leaves. You're not alone with that problem, and just for the record, I have Launch'Em as the default.

Thumbs up

Read John King's post. It solved mine perfectly. I gave a tab setting for everything and just loaded a few programs and have yet to see the error.
