I am sure I have seen this topic beofre but I searched the archive and could not locate the answer.

Is there a way to hide items in Outlook 2000 that you mark as private in datebook?

I don't believe so. In Outlook, a private item appears as time allocated-- but the details of the allocation are not shown to those you've shared your calendar with.
