-- Problem with area I am tapping on main screen (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=8761)
I just started having probelms with my Visor Deluxe, where when I tap on an area in the top half - it actually does what ever is to usually the left side of it. To clarify, say when I tap on the colon (
in when using the "123" and doing the character area, I end up getting the asterik (*) - which is to the left of it on the character area. When in Datebook, adn tapping on say Wednesday, I get either a Tuesday or Thursday showing up. Has anyone else been having this problem? It seems to be intermittent and has only just started happening over the past two days.
Thanks

Go to the Prefs app, select Digitizer, and recalibrate the screen by tapping on the X's. If that doesn't improve anything, you may want to try a SOFT reset, then recalibrate again.

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?
That did it - Mark!
Mark,
Did the digitizer thing and that was it - thanks a bunch! Didn't even realize that the "tapping the X" was actaully calibrating. Now that you mention it, that came up when my daughter was doing something on the Visor and she probably didn't tap precisely in the center of the X. This is what happens when you pop your Visor out of the box and go - never even bothering to read any of the instructions that may have come with it.
