-- How to synch Outlook 2000, Visor and Palm Desktop? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2376)
Help I am having a brain fart! I just had to reinstall all and start from scratch. I have the Visor synched with Outlook 2000 using Pocket Mirror OK - all apps synch. But nothing is synching with the Palm Desktop. How do I get all 3 to synch? I thought I had it set up that way before I had to reboot everything. What am I missing? Duh!
I was under the impression that you could sync with Outlook OR the Palm Desktop (at least with the conduits that ship with the Visor). If I'm wrong, someone please speak-up!
I know that you can do some mixing if you run Intellisync (Puma), as I do so at work. However, for the record, I can not recommend this product. I've gotten attitude from Puma tech support; and for the price that I paid for their product that is unacceptable. If you lose your original registration info, they will treat you like a criminal - - and refuse to help you! And they really want to hook you into a $50/year software subscription. GRRR!

AFAIK, I have never seen any setting in PocketMirror that lets you sync all 3 (Visor/O2K/PDesk) at once.

I'm not sure why you would want to sync to both Outlook and Palm Desktop on one machine? I do sync with both, but they are on different machines (work and home).
You're right I was wondering why I'd want to synch both, but just remember having data in both Outlook and Palm. Perhaps I did an import or something. I will have Outlook at home and only Palm at work so I'll do like rtalain. Thanks for the reply!
I'm using TrueSync from Starfish --which you can get for free-- to Sync between Palm Device, Palm Desktop, Outlook 98 and Yahoo!. I've been using it for a few months now and find it works great. If you need to sync to more than one PIM, it's definitely worth checking out.
