Need help converting Mpegs to Tealmovie

Hi all,

I am trying out Tealmovie beta which supports the memplug, and have a bunch of mpegs I want to convert. I know I have to convert my mpegs to avi's before I can convert them to tealmovie format. I have downloaded VirtualDub which Tealpoint seems to recommend. However, there are several settings in VirtualDub for converting mpegs, and I can't seem to get my stuff converted right. Can anyone help me with the best settings for converting mpegs to avi to I can then convert them adequately to tealmove format?

If not with VirtualDub, what have people had the best success with when converting mpegs to avi for tealmovie...
