Hey all,

I was thinking of getting a USB cable for the visor instead of the docking cradle that its shipped with. However, I don't know how the cable operates. When I use teh docking cradle to hotsync I can just press a button and presto, it hotsyncs. Does the cable work the same way? Is there some for of switch on the cable to hotsync...or do you have to initiate hotsync via the visor or desktop?

If it works the same as the PalmPilot HotSync cable I used to use at work, you initiate the HotSync from the Visor, using the HotSync app.

You have to initiate the hot synch from the visor.

I just got mine and love it. I carry a laptop for work and the cable is nice in that it takes up less space and I can now leave my cradle attached to my docking station.
