We ordered 2 (seems like a lot of folks are doing this!!). Mine will be graphite, while my SO's will be blue.

It's interesting to see how many folks are ordering multiple units. I guess a lot of you were like me... wanting a Palm, but not willing to pay what they wanted for it.

We ordered two because both my S/O and I are consultants and often one of us is on the road. This is the reason we needed two. Also, I DON'T share everything with her!!

Out of curiosity, what will you folks with multiple units be using them for? What's the advantage of having 2? Unless they're for your spouse/etc.

I ordered blue. I couldn't resist-it was between ice and blue (I even considered orange for the sake of being different-but that would get old fast). I am a college student and the different transparent cases are appealing to me . Since the back is clear anyways, the blue was a great compromise. Anyways, I gonna hate this waiting game now-guy I talked to said that they were going to be accepting online orders next week-so maybe they will start to crank things up!

Blue. My favorite color, no other reason. The salesperson responded, "Good choice." Maybe they're trained to say that to everyone.

I asked about the modem, and she said they would take orders for it beginning next month and ship in November.

Also ordered the flash module and was told it would ship with the Visor in a month.

I will order graphite. I would prefer others who see my PDA think "Oh, its just another Palm Pilot," than say "Hey! What's that? Can I see it?" But that's just me...

looks like im only the second person on here to order orange. before the visor came out, i was working on plans to make my own injection molded orange case for my palm. twoud take a little reverse engineering, but that wouldnt be that tough.

Haven't bought one yet, I'll wait till the new year when more stuff is out. In response to the question, what will people do with more than one Visor; I would use one for voice recognition/regular PDA use, the other for phone or MP3 use. Only one slot, and the phone thingy would probably be a permanant addition. 1 deluxe in ice, 1 solo. I'm waiting for war stories, good or bad. Funny, PDA used to mean public display of affection...

This seems to be pretty stratified.

Graphite for people who'll be dealing with Palms in business situations and don't want to stick out.

Blue for people who may deal with Palms in business situations and don't mind sticking out.

Ice for people who may be dealing with Palms in a business situation and really want to stick out, but only a little bit.

Orange or green for people who will not be dealing with business situations.

Tell me if I'm wrong - but an occasional exception only proves the rule....

I would pick chrome because I like looking at myself.

I originally ordered ICE as my color but upon close examination, the cased looked more translucent (frosty actually) than transparent...so I changed to GRAPHITE, which i hope is more black than palm-gray.

Does anyone know for sure that ice is transparent and not translucent?

I got blue....which is strange for me, but i love how it is more of a navy and not some baby/neon blue.

The woman i ordered it from said i could change the order (color) anytime before it ships by going to the website....BUT it won't be available for another week.

I will order when the web site goes full auto, and it will be Blue. I work in business, and don't mind standing out. I also just bought a new truck that is blue and when I had the alarm installed I bought a translucent blue key fob-controller to match. I know if I ever sell the truck, I won't match anymore, but the Blue is COOL!

I asked the lady who took my order which she liked best and she said blue. So I said, "GREAT, Give me blue!!!"

She asked me a few questions about address, card number, etc.....
I thought to myself, while she talked:
"I should say that I want GREEN!!!"
"No, maybe ORANGE!!!!!"
"Man, the GRAPHITE wasn't bad either...."
"No, definitely BLUE!!!"

...

By the time the phone call was about over I had changed my mind. I HAD TO HAVE THE ICE!!!

Blue - First off I'm a college student on co-op so I can stick out a little but not too much. Second I'm paying good time waiting for a Visor when I'd be willing to pay for a Palm V so I want it to obviously not be a Palm Pilot. Besides at a Tech School it's an obligation to show off new gadgets. I want to tack on the MiniJam MP3 Player/Voice Recorder at Christmas and that seems to have a bit of blue tinge to it so I think it it'll match well enough.

Almost got the blue, but that's Pepsi's color.. yuck... and I work for Coca-Cola...

Red would have been my choice had they offered it...

ice, ice baby. the colors were too much of an imac copy (although i do think different).
i, too want it to grab some attention but not too loudly.
i can't wait till that box is waiting for me at home because i'm a palm virgin and have so much to learn!

Blue

i went for the blue. IT looks pretty; blue goes wellw ith alot of things, and i felt the blue frame complemented the green screen well, the 2 of them are my fav colors together anyhow.

now i just need to decide if i wanna cancel it and go palm5 or stick w/ my palm3 and flash upgradeability.
