Well my Visor came yesterday (only took 14 days after I ordered)

I have used my Palm Pilot for 3 years now and wanted to transfer all my apps and settings to my Visor the easiset way possible. I use BackupBuddy which backs up everything including apps.....which I have used before to restore everything after I had to do a Hard Reset one time.

Well. Everything synced ok to the visor and then it had to reset....but it froze at the logo screen. I was able to get it to boot after reseting and holding the up arrow. So now I had to figure which app was causing me greif. Turns out that Snoozer and Snoozer Hack does not work with the Visor. After that everything worked fine.

Anyways.....I can't beleive how much faster it is and the screen quality. The only thing I have to gripe about it is that I'm used to the "old" backlighting where the background is lite up instead of the text. Does anyone know of a hack that can switch it back?

Have you tried the [shortcut].8 trick? I've heard folks have not had 100% success with this, though. GreenLightHack is one hack I know of that claims to do the trick. There are others.

The InvertHack is the one that works great for me.
