The fact that folks are having to wait on hold for so long is inexcusable. Handspring should have doubled their phone force by now, or added a second phone fulfillment house.

As far as anticipation of demand goes, though, demand outstripping supply never hurt Furby, Tickle Me Elmo, or Pokemon... In the consumer market, that doesn't usually signal a company being less than professional, it signals a product in heavy demand. (So I must want one TOO!)
