What Springboard should I get? Keep in mind I'd love a wireless, but I have no steady source of income, and I live in Albuquerque. Tell me which you think is best!

Backup Module
A backup Module should be your very first Springboard module! Its relatively cheap, practical, and can save you a lot of grief.

thincom modem
I love my thincomm modem, I can get a free ISPO account and dial in to the internet anyhwre. I also sync. w/my desktop PC anywhere, so I don;t need a backup module so much. On the minus side, it drains my AAA's really quickly.
What's the difference between the backup and the 8 MB Springboard? Are they the same thing?

They are different. I would recomend the backup module. If you visor crashes (god forbid) it will restore EVERYTHING completely, from the last time you backed up. The 8 meg module will just grant you additional space to store programs and data. Go backup style.

Alright... I'll look into that!

Why store separately?
Jeff:
Why not keep the Backup module in my visor?
K:
Don't leave the backup module in your Visor because if your Visor is stolen or falls into a lake or meets with some other mischief, so will the module.
If you have the module in your pocket/backpack/drawer, losing the Visor means just getting a new Visor and restoring from the module!
(Sorry for the delay. I didn't see your question until now.)

Aha, good points. I guess I could've figured that out myself the hard way--but I'm glad I didn't!!
