-- battery indicator never falls below 100% (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2919)
I've had my Visor for more than a month. The problem is, the battery power indicator never falls below 100%. It stays full all the time, even when the Visor totally runs out of juice and shuts down on its own.
I've gone through 3 sets of alkaline batteries, and the symptom is still the same. On rare occassions, I've seen the battery at halfway in the Application screen. But if I launch an app, then switch back, the battery is full again. Once, the Visor even warned me that the power is low. That's it.
The voltage reads 3.27V. Is that normal?
I've contacted Handspring's Technical Support, and they've told me to take out the batteries and do a hard reset, but it didn't help.
Sending the Visor back is the last resort, after I read about the horror stories of getting an even worse replacement.
Help!

Simply sounds defective to me. Not a common problem. Use their exchange program. It's very quick and efficient.
