Are there any applications planned or available for synchronizing the new Visor with Symantec ACT!??

Yep. Visor = Palm when it comes to software.

I'd recommend taking a look at Puma Technology's Intellisync:

(I guess the idea that the Visor under it's hood is a Palm will take some getting used to)
