Visor Delux & memory modules

I am struggling to learn enough to decide how to cope with three interlinked medical programs (searchable data bases) with a combined memory of 9000 kb. (Software by skyscape) My delux has OS 3.1. I can't tell for sure which module to use, but I assume that I am looking for one that can access the database in module memory by using the program in the Visor. It doesn't seem to make sense to try to copy the database into the visor each time I want it. I'm hoping to find someone who has actually done this. My info says the MemPlug with PiDirect would work except not on OS before 3.5. The software Mfg. suggest Innopocket, but they didn't tell me which model, or how to distribute the files. Any help wouuld be appreciated.

One solution would be a FlashMemory Module. HandSpring has one that holds 8MB and Hagiwara has one that is 8MB and one that is 16MB.

PalmGear also shows that DataQuake makes a 16MB Flash Module with Vibrating alarm that is cheaper than the Hagiwara.

The Flash Modules are the most integrated solution. They are also the most expensive.

You are correct that PiDirect will not work with OS3.1.

You might want to take a look at LaunchPlug. This site has some great information on getting the most out of your Visor, the MemPlug, and LauncherIII. The FAQ's will also help you to understand some of the differences between the memory options.

Hopefully, someone else here can offer other suggestions.
