Anyone else have difficulty charging their StarTac phone? I have to work hard to make decent contact with either my car charger or even home charger. I even know someone who bought a second charger for this reason. If I tilt the connector a certain way, it charges. It is driving me nuts. presently I clip the cord at a bizarre angle to maintain contact to charge overnight. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

How long have you had your phone? If it's still under warranty I would try having it repaired or replaced... I've had a StarTAC 7868W for about 3 months with no charging or data cable problems whatsoever.

Quite a while - 2nd phone

I have had it since April 2000 but then had a completely new phone given to me by sprint around November 2000 because I was dropping so many calls.
