A lot of people complain about their Visors here on VisorCentral.

This might disencourage potential Visor buyers lurking around.

Like somebody mentioned in another post, nobody calls the power company to tell them they have power.

I have had my IVDx for a couple of weeks now, and I have had absolutely no problems with it.

- No cracks.

- No scratched screen, even though I use the stylus that came with my visor, and I don't use screen protectors.

- I have an Ice VDx and I love the way it looks. IMHO, the plastic *doesn't* look "cheap".

All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase. So, if you like your Visor, please write a reply to this thread. (And if you don't, you are entitled to your opinion, but please say so in another thread). Let's tell the world that Handspring has a quality product!

I've had my BVD just 5 days and I'm lovin' it big time! I am still waiting for my serial cradle - which is on backorder - so I can't sync with my work PC. I had problems with my USB cradle, but you know what? - they were ALL my fault! I checked the online tech support at Handspring and the User's manual and after a couple of attempts everything is AOK.

It's amazing how quickly we'll blame the product when we don't take the time to read the manuals.

I'm using the Writeright screen covers, but gotta say . . . I'm not a big fan of them. They don't reduce glare and add a "haze" to the screen. I have a PDA Panache stylus, so maybe I shouldn't be super-sensitive about scratches. (I was paranoid after reading some posts here.)

This is a great product; love that backup springboard - what a breeze . . . and I'm getting pretty good at the Tiger Woods' game, too!

Day 11 (but who's counting?) and still no problems or complaints (at least any that weren't my fault).

My IVDx is just wonderful. Does everything I expected it to and then some. Having spent a month or so here at VC prior to purchasing, I made myself quite a list of do's and don'ts, both in regards to the hardware AND software.

I've installed numerous apps, utilities, and hacks. Most have performed well; some haven't. They got tossed in the recycle bin... oops... wrong OS.

Additionally, my experience with Handspring was great. Ordered on a Friday evening and received it on the following Wednesday. I'm still waiting for the belt-clip case, but so what... I'm not in need of a case just yet 'cause I can't seem to keep this c l thing out of my hand (I swear, it just jumps into it first thing in the morning).

I would recommend the Visor to anyone looking for a PDA. I do not believe the price/performance/features mix can be beat. All I need now is my SixPak springboard and the StowAway keyboard and my life will be complete.

Okay, I got mine in mid November (yes it's a REV A) and my wife thought it looked so cool that I ordered her one last Sunday and it arrived on Thrusday (4 business days). I think that says how impressed I am with the Visor. And Handspring seems to have gotten a hold on their shipments. Now if they could just do something about their customer service (though I haven't had to use it since November, but I continue to hear the horror stories).

I have the newest version of the Visor. It is wonderful. The screen is nice and hard. The stylus has to tip to scratch the screen. Everything was perfect...until it was stolen.

Cool

I've had my IVX for just over a month. No problems...nothin'...nada. I love it.

I bought my spouse a GVX for Valentine's Day and I've been loading it up via IR when she's not around and haven't had a bit of trouble with her's either. The IR transfers have gone like clockwork and whenever I've used her's it's just as solid and dependable as mine.

I've had my blue Visor Deluxe for one month and I'm going to buy one for my wife.

Had my BVDX since November and no problems, I use the Handspring color stylus which feels much better than the one that comes with the Visor. Also use Wrightrights which seem to last forever.

Cool

I've had my Visor since the middle of December, and I love the little guy! Can't live without it!

And I haven't had any problems with it. That is, problems that were the Visor's fault. I don't count misbehaving Hackmaster hacks.

No crumbling plastic case, no chip falling out of the springboard cover, no cracked screen, everything is perfect.

Graphite Visor Deluxe. One week, no problems except one program doesn't work (Tiny Logo 1.0). USB sync is fast!! Hope my 8MB Flash springboard arrives soon...

I had my GVDx for about three weeks and absolutely not a single problem, I don't know how I ever got along without it.

The only way I'll get rid of my Visor is to trade up for a COLOR VISOR.

I've had mine since Jan 31st and so has my coworker. No problems at all. We love them and keep recommending it to our friends.

My wife and I have had one each for several weeks -- I was using an HP200LX, and a HP95 before that. I really do like the machine, and it's very readable screen, and the software avail (StarPilot, TealDoc, Isilo, etc) Only problem was with a Teal-demo program.

I love mine. I ordered it the first day and though it arrived slightly late, it was what I ordered.

I love it. I did have problems with the first one, but the new one is great. Customer service was helpful in getting my replacement to me. I have reccomended them to several people and just wish I could get comission on the ones that friends have purchased. Can't wait for the MP3 springboard.

Into my sixth week (and second set of replacement batteries), and I'm still happy.

All would be bliss if the Six-Pak would ship! I think it is going to be a rather long wait until it does . . .
