How To ? - Enter TO DO topic from Palm and Have it Show up on your daily scheduler?
I learned a neat tip from palmgear.com, it is to go to your daily planner and hit "new" then "to do" and you would have a "to do" item THERE ON YOUR DAILY PLANNER, instead of just on your "to do" list in a separate area.
That way, you can look at appointments AND to do entries at the SAME TIME! Cool.
Only drawback is, I haven't been able to figure out how to do the same thing on Palm Desktop. If I enter a to do function from Palm Desktop normally, it never shows up on my daily planner on my handheld later.
This is a pain because instead of entering new "to do" entries as they come up from the desktop, I must EACH TIME grab my handheld and work from there. Pretty annoying.
Thanks for any advice!
Depends on the ToDo's category, I believe. You can set what categories of ToDo's to include in Datebook under Options.
Any ToDo's not in the selected categories would not appear.
I can't test this where I am and am not 100% sure of this, but I beleive it would work. LMK if it doesn't.

Yorick is basically correct. If you are in datebook view on your hand held, you have to go to "Options" (use the menu thingy below the house icon)and then set the "To Do Preferences" to show the categories that you want to see on your planner view. If you want to see all of them, you have to put a checkmark in each box.
