Sounds like a bank robber blowing up the whole bank to get through the vault door! If someone does a hard reset on your Visor to get past a password program, it would delete all the data, which would seem to defeat the purpose of trying it in the first place... and someone would have to be totally clueless or downright sadistic to do it.
