Greetings all,

Does anyone know where I can get a cool zippered neoprene case for my Visor Stowaway, like the ones that come with the Palm version Stowaways?

Thanks

I use the Body Glove Neopreme case. Tight fit, but after a little work-in, it's great!

Cool

I think the famous walmart CCN-10 camera case will fit it well. It's dirty cheap.

I picked up one of the Palm Glove cases at CompUSA, or you can get them from the Palm website for about the same price.

The Pouch Inc. at http://www.thepouch.com/ will make a neoprene case to any size you specify. My Dad and I use their Visor case and have found it very serviceable so I'd expect the same from the rest of their line.

Thumbs up

I own a minidisk player so not too long ago I went out to my favorite store, Best Buy, to buy a 10 pack of Memorex blanks. There was a special that included a free minidisk case when you bought a 10 pack so I got it thinking why not. Even thought I probably wont use the case, I like having cases, as you never know what other uses you can find for them later on. I actually use the case that came with my ZIP drive for my minidisks .

Now this case that came with the minidisks actually doesnt seem to be a very good minidisk case. It is supposed to hold 6 minidisks but they really dont fit that well in it and I have lots anyway so really would not use it for that. However it fits the Stowaway just right having a zipper all around and a stiff top and bottom. The Stowaway fits right in there perfect! You probably could fit a springboard or so with it as well depending on their size. So maybe check out Memorex 6 disk minidisk cases you might like it. I guess they sell them separate and other brands would also maybe work. If I need to put this into a case I will use this. Right now I just like carrying it as is as I feel it is self protected in that metal shell. If I ever travel with it I will use the case though.

PeloGrande,
You said that this case is avalable on the Palm webpage. I looked but can't find it on the Palm page, can anyone point me in the right direction?

gameboy case

I've had pretty good sucess with a case logic gameboy case I got from bestbuy. The Stowaway sits in a net holder on one side. The other side has a zippered pocket which is perfect for holding a couple of springboard modules. Price was about $9.00 I believe.

I was at Target this morning and they had a few cases in the "pen and stationary" aisle. One of them was called the "Scuba" case. It's by Daytimer ($14.95) and was hanging on the pegs in the aisle. They had black and blue neoprene. They looked large enough, but can't be sure.

I, too, use the blue CasLogic Neoprene case for GameBoys. Its not exactly tight fitting but it does a good job keeping the keyboard nice in my backpack. As someone suggested on these boards I keep a piece of cardboard in the zippered side to keep it stiff.

I appreciate all of the suggestions of cases, but does anyone know where to purchase the case that comes with the Palm version Stowaways?

I haven't discovered a site where they sell the Palm Portable Keyboard's neoprene case. ThinkOutside's homepage recommends Targus' pda/stowaway combo case and Levenger's napa case. You can probably try the Palm Glove for the Palm III models available at store.palm.com.
