-- PCMCIA Card Adapter (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=14633)
I have a bunch of 8 MB PCMCIA card sitting around, and I'm itching to rig them up so I can plug them into my Visor. They'll hang off the end, but that's OK. Does anyone know anything about building a PCMCIA adapter for Visor? I know that there are several compact flash adapters available. However, my intent is to get up-and-running with my PCMCIA cards for something close to zero cost.
The problem is the the PCCard (PCMCIA) interface and Springboard interface are vastly different, even though they use the same physical connector. There's different signals in each interface. Additionally, it's really a matter of drivers that makes the whole proposition impractical.

Right - I had heard that the interfaces are different. I saw this:

and wondered if I could somehow use their drivers to do it...
