Feeling Sad

I am feeling a little sad about Handspring's phasing out of the Visor's and focusing on the so-called TREO. And now Office Depot has liquidated their stock of Visor's and Visor accessories... hmm...

I really don't want to waste any more $$$ on Handspring related products, now. I'd rather waste it on something that I can actually use and doesn't give me eyestrain, or pocketbook strain. While I believe that the Visor never fully realized its potential, and a lot of people feel that investing in the TREO would be a mistake, I am left feeling despondent.

I just sold my MiniJam on eBay partly because I never use it, but also because those MP3/CD players are pretty damn cool and a lot more handy. I almost blew $90 on that camera from Targus and another $60 - $90 on a keyboard for school. I think I'll just get rid of the lot and get me an iPaq.

Also, I'll never own a Palm mostly because I think that Palm users are a bit too pretentious - like those pesky Mac users... always asserting how SUPERIOR their systems are, and then they turn around and moan about the lack of available or compatible software.

Oh, well. I live in Hawaii so I guess I can't complain too much.
