I have a Nokia 6160 with an IR port at the top. Does anyone know if you can transfer the Phones database to the visor? If so How?

The Nokia 6160, like all of the North American Nokia 6100 series phones, has an IR window but no IR behind it. I have the 6190, also with a useless IR "port".

There is a serial interface that is available I think from Dataviz for transfer of phone numbers. I believe it's designed for an Outlook conduit....check at their web page but I remember a price of around 69.95. Seemed pricey but maybe not for some people.

I think bluetooth is supposed to solve some of the IR conflict issues as well. But that's a ways off.

Not sure if you caught my meaning. I mean that Nokia 6100 phones in North America have no functioning IR circuitry. The "port" is just there as eye candy (and probably because it's the same case as the European/Asian models).
