This will sound crazy, but I got the Handy GPS back over the summmer, then my job kicked into high gear and I have not had any time or inclination for my GPS unit. anyway, i had to hard reset, lost everything and now I am trying to get back some stuff, and I can't get http://www.nexian.com website. Did these guys go out of business while I was away?

I'm in the same boat...just finished a transfer/move and after reading about the HandyGPS recall, tried to get in touch with Nexian to ask them about it, but no response. Now their website is down. If anyone has been able to successfully contact them, please let us know.

This may be a temporary situation as I was able to get on Wednesday to download some maps for DC. Navicom's site is still up. I will let you all know if I can connect.

As I suspected, there was a temporary problem with the site. I just tried it at 10:00AM EDT and it is back up.

BTW, how do you guys like your HandyGPS and what have you been using it for? Have you tried it in an airplane?
