Thanks for the help.

I know what an old Atari looks like, I have 4 of them and 20 games all still working.

I have an N64 and a great PC (Compaq 5600i, 450 Mhx Pentium 2, 256 MB, 16.8 Gig, V.90 and DSL modem, 6x DVD, etc) so gaming really doesn't matter.

About the internet, I buy the modem and it plugs though the phone and can connect to my ISP. What is the appropriate client?

I think I might just buy the modem because the six pack has to be over $225+ based on what it offers, don't you think?

Baffasaur, your post helped a lot.

Chris.
Let me explain my position.

I am 14 years old and homeschooled. I am the CEO/CFO of Patrick's Stock Market Services, a stock market publications company. I am going a lot of places and in turn want to have access to e-mail etc., plus I play golf and am gonna get Tiger Woods and one of the hanicapping softwares. Please everyone visit my website http://psms.cjb.net and take a look at the website.

Has anyone tried http://portable.yahoo.com ? is it compatible with the Visor?

Once again thanks for your help,

Patrick O'Keefe

psms:
Modems: yes, that's it. As this will be my first PDA, I can't recommend a client--I haven't seen any mentioned here, but I haven't been looking for it. The handspring site has software links, and it should have serveral options, along with PalmGear HQ. One package that has gotten ALOT of good reviews is AvantGo is another option for viewing stuff offline.
As for what to buy, and when, I haven't seen any prices for the 6-pack, but with the HS modem going for $129, I would say that $225 for the 6-pack is a great deal. And it may be available by the time you actually get your Visor (although I think it's only the Sept Gang that has the long wait).
I'll have to check your site--I wish I was as focused when I was 14!
Best of luck!
