Hey guys,

I e-mailed the makers of Silkyboard, a keyboard and screen protector for Palm handhelds, asking about compatability with the Visor. Here's their reply:

Thanks for your interest to our product.
In the present time Silkyboard is tested with PalmPilot Personal,
Proffesional, Palm III, IIIe, IIIse, IIIx, V, VII.

The release of the special version for Visor is planned in first
quarter of 2000, aproximately at the end January.

It is possible to use with Visor model Basic or Classic now.
But you will have limitation - inconvenient use the contrast button,
all other properties are completely accessible. The software
driver, that fix this problem by using reservered button, will
issued at the end of December.

Having bought Silkyboard you will receive free-of-charge upgrades
of the current version during one year, and also large discounts
on acquisition of new models. We think, that 12 Silkyboard
screen-protection films provide total life expectancy about 3 years,
therefore refill kit is not issued yet. But if our users need this
product, it will be undoubtedly issued.
