Anyone have another update on the WIN2K USB Driver dilema?!

To any Handspring Employees out there... it would a great gesture of appreciation for our support, tolerance, and money if you could offer serial cradles at either a reduced price or some other deal. Some of us are students and can't handle the extra expense.
According to their website, a new version of Palm Desktop with W2K USB support will come out in March 2000. So I guess that gives them 10 days to make good on their word. Hopefully it is released in this time period.

I doubt. I don't have much faith that they will be able to get them out in 10 days.
Oh, ye of little faith!
Nechasin -- Well I agree with you there.. Seems to be pretty common for any software release to miss atleast three or four deadlines ..
Joe
.. maybe they will be out for Win2001
HS have finally got back in touch about the beta test programme.
Some info for all the doubters :
I had an email 10 days (or so) ago asking me if I'd like to join the closed beta programme, understandably I jumped at the chance.
Since then I've heard exactly nothing from them, so I sent them an email asking them when the programme was going to start.
They replied with words to the effect of "anytime now, real soon, promise".
I really don't think they are going to make it for the end of March, I reckon we'll see the closed beta testing start at the end of next week and (maybe) get a driver release in the middle of April.
Another deadline slips.
Just thought I'd let you know.
PS: please don't email asking for the beta, HS clearly said in their mail that this is a closed beta.
Cheers,
