ScreeWrite on the Edge

Does anyone successfully use ScreenWrite on their Edge?

It doesn't work for me and the author says it should. Has anybody got it to work?

What exactly IS ScreenWrite? I've heard of WriteRight, but not ScreenWrite.

Could you please tell me what it is? Software? Screen Protector?

Sorry for my ignorance.

ScreenWrite allows you to write full screen instead of just in the graffiti area. It also shopws the "digital ink" of your graffati as your write. It's cool program because you are not confined to the little graffiti area and you can set it up to except "large" characters as capitals.

I haven't used it at all, but why not use CIC's JOT instead? You can turn JOT off and draw Graffiti characters anywhere on the screen instead of JOT characters. And it will display them in digial ink.

You can read about it at http://www.cic.com/products/jot/

My recollection is that JOT worked OK on the edge. And they have an eval copy so you can try it for a few days before you decided.

Just a thought...

Arrow HMMM

I can use ScreenWrite on my Visor Prism that has the same OS as the Edge. I don't see why it would not work no the Edge.

I've tried 3 different Edges and ScreenWrite won't work on any of them. I even tried a hard reset and installing only screenwrite and xmaster, still didn't work. Some letters (and all numbers) will work but most will not.

Actually I have RecoEcho from CIC and it does work mostly. The reason I don't like RecoEcho (and JOT is the same way) is that punctuation has to be done back down in the graffiti area. I also had other minor issues with RecoEcho, this is why I've always used ScreenWrite. It worked great on my Visor DLX but it's "spotty" on the Edge.
