Hoytsync visor and palm problem

I am running XP home on my pc. my Visor syncs with USB fine. We got a palm Zire. When I connect it with USB, XP says found new hardware. I run the new hardware utility and it sets up the palm. Then the Zire can hotsync, but then when I try to hotsync my visor the new hardware found utility pops up. I run the utility and xp sets up the visor. Now the palm will not hotsync. Using diferent logons doesn't help. How can I keep both drivers working at the same time?
