Even then the general chat forum gets a lot more traffic than the edge forum. And if someone isn't interested in checking out the general chat forum, what would make them interested by linking from the other forums? No big deal, it just seems rather fatuous.

I figured that the original poster of this thread was in cahoots with the pdaoffer folks and was trying to drive up visits to pdaoffer.com (Based on "bumping" of other thread, start of this one, registration date, and limited topics of his posting.)

Ummm, hello? I got in on this PDA Offer and then thought it was a scam, and while checking out VisorCentral.com found this discussion group. I wanted to let people know in THIS thread that there was another thread about the Visor Edge (since this is the visor edge page) and it's been getting a lot of hits. I'm getting my money back (thankfully) for that rip-off. Again, this was only to reference a big discussion at a different thread. I am not in cahoots. I registered yesterday after I ordered and thought I was scammed.

I was trying to get one. The site had a bunch of others worried about the scam, so I jumped on to get info and to keep people informed. I don't have a PDA, and I was looking for a good deal when a guy referred me to that mess!

If you are interested in getting a Palm or Handspring for cheap, you might wait a bit. These companies may have a few rough quarters coming up, and they may have to resort to rebates/discounts as incentive to move inventory.

While I like my Prism a lot, I don't know that I would have bought it without the CompUSA rebate a few months back. Made it a no brainer for me. Hopefully similar deals are coming? Whatever happens, I don't think we'll be seeing Edges for $20 again any time soon.
