Hi !

I have a Visor & Visor Phone and i Can't remote synchronize and use ISP because modem don't dial number. I set all default settings, do hard reset ....
When I tap Connect or synchonize button in window i see text "Dialing (number)" .... after 3 second ... says "Retrying", Then "0x104 No Carrier" ... but phone which i Call dont ringing !!!
But all incoming and autgoing call from Visor Phone all OK !

What this ? defective hardware ?

The first thing I would try is dialing the ISP number from a normal telephone. If you get the usual modem noises, the problem is on your end. If you don't, check the number again or contact your ISP.

Phone as Voice device work good all ok, but as data device with internal modem he is didn't _dial_ number ???

You need to contact your wireless provider and turn on data services. This is an extra charge for most wireless providers. Without data service, you will get the "retrying" "no carrier" error messages you are experiencing.

What about for an error 0x1101 no dial tone?

I have the same problem as the original post. I put in my phone number for home(I have a home dial up server ISP) and the VisorPhone's internal modem doesn't dial the indicated number.

It gives the above error, 0x1101 no dial tone.

The VisorPhone however tries to dial something, as my CRT monitor flickers like mad when the phone sends or receives a call.

Piece of crap! It used to work flawlessly, now it doesn't work at all. Is Voicestream trying to get rid of this feature on us? I never had data service enabled before.
