-- Anyone tried the GoStyle wood overlays? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3912)
They look pretty cool. Has anyone put one on their Visor, cover and cradle? They are a true vanity item - I love the idea!

I just read the review. God, that was funny.I suppose the way to do it on a budget is to go get some of the vinyl wood grain stuff that you put in drawers to make them look even more cheap.
I've been thinking about finding some one to make an alternate case for my ICE, so that if I screw it up trying to color it, I won't have shot myself in the foot too bad. While I would spend quite a bit for a billet aluminum case, or a really nice hand carved wood one, what do you think the market price would be if someone were to make these for sale? I've seen the Palm IIIx/e case in billet for a couple of hundred US, and thats just out of sight for a little bit of metal.

there is no way the wood overlays could look good....
The article was different, but was more impressionistic than factual. The comments section was insane with people who have never even seen the product in real life giving their thumbs down.
Can wood overlays look good? Sure they can. Is the price point of this product a good value? I don't think so. Cut the price and we'll talk.
