-- yet another way to carry Visor (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=12285)
check out www.force.com
although they don`t have one for Visor, it is nice way to carry your handheld.
the only concern is stylus... how am I gonna make it stay with Visor if it`s upside down.
anyway, tell me what you think, or better, tell them what you think and ask let`s ask them to make one for us.

It seems like the visor doesn't get very much protection. I think that I would like to keep my Visor close to my body (I just feel alittle warmer that way).
Hello, my name is "VISOR"
Be great if it came with a "My Name is" app.. Hang it around your neck at conferences with your name showing.. Of course, it would have to display upside down :0
I'd prefer something that actually encased the Visor and somehow kept it from swinging around.. I have visions of turning around to quickly and losing both a Visor and someone's eye.. aside from the synch-latch not being all that reliable looking...

go ahead, make my case...
come to think of it, how come we don't see anybody come up with gun-holster type carrying solution? I have a pouch with belt loop, but shoulder holster would be nice.
at restaurant, or at the meeting, when I am sitting at the table, sometime it's hard to get it out from any belt case (with style, that is), and if I have it in the pocket of my jacket, it goes with jacket when I take it off.
having them around neck seems to be one form of solution for that, although I kinda agree with "protection" and "swinging" issues, and I don't think I'm gonna eat at some nice restaurants with Visor hanging from my neck instead of tie.
I think shoulder holster wouldn't be nice idea at places like airport, but just like The Rambler was saying, I wanna have my orange little thing close to my body.
...if it's only the size of cigarette pack, I wouldn't need no case....

...after I wrote this, I found someone talking about
e-holster (www.e-holster.com) on the other thread, which looks pretty close to what I was thinking.
There is a more modestly priced alternative to the E-Holster, the Landware BurroPak

I'm wearing one right now
nice!
thanks Winchell!!
let me ask some; do straps on your holster cross at the center of back? is the case part detachable(I just don`t need cellphone part)? do you think it`s comfortable to wear that in hot summer?
see, I`m getting serious about it!

The BurroPak is much more limited than the E-Holster (but is much cheaper).
The BurroPak has one pouch, with two pockets. Currently I am carrying my Prism in the outer pocket, and a Stowaway keyboard in the inner pocket.
The E-Holster has several pouches.
Both the E-Holster and the BurroPak allow one to detach the pouches.
The BurroPak's straps do cross in the center of the back. They attach to a small vertical bar, which is padded for comfort.
It hasn't really bothered me in the hot summer.
It is a little conspicuous if you are wearing a light colored shirt. I habitually wear black T-Shirts, and the BurroPak blends in quite nice nicely. Many people don't even notice that I am wearing it.
But do NOT make a quick grabbing motion for your Visor if you are around armed individuals who are nervous! It does resemble a sholder holster.

He he he! OK- I buy a small GameBoy-like device, then, in order to carry it comfortably and safely, I get a $30+ dollar rapid-draw holster for it?
Sounds like a great punch line developing in there somewhere!
I appreciate the idea of the 'necklace' version, and I doubt the 'swing out and hit someone' scenario would occur if you tuck it inside your shirt or into a shirt pocket. The idea of carrying stuff around the neck is pretty common for hikers, and military/police around the world who even carry guns that way! Many people carry their valuables in neck pouches- this seems a logical solution to me.
I LOVE the idea of turning the screen into a big ID badge! I can just see an electronic bill-board-like message crawling over the bottom of the nametag.
Thanks!
