To use shortcuts, Graffiti the shortcut character (looks like a lower-case cursive "L") followed bythe shortcut itself.

For example, to insert the current date:

(shortcut) D S

To insert the current date (assuming your have not change your short cut preferences) try:

:ShortCut: D SShort for Date Stamp. For a Time stamp try:

:ShortCut: T SFor a Date-Time stamp try:

:ShortCut: D T SFor Breakfast try:

:ShortCut: B RAnd so on.

Oh yeah, an undocumented feature. If you go into the ShortCut Preference Panel and add a new short cut with ShortCut Name of "tds" and the ShortCut Text of "@TDS" you can then do:

:ShortCut: T D Sfor a Time-Date stamp.
